Hinoki, or Japanese Cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa), is a breathtaking evergreen conifer native to Japan, growing up to 40 meters tall with a trunk width of up to 100 cm. It is considered one of the five sacred trees of the Kiso Mountains and a symbol of power. Since ancient times, its wood, known for its resistance to insects and rot, has been used to build palaces, temples, shrines, traditional Noh theaters, and baths across Japan.

Aroma: Unique, clean woody scent with sweet, slightly citrusy, and spicy undertones. It evokes the smell of freshly cut wood and pine forest, with a hint of lemon. It is fresh yet deeply grounding and soothing.

Dosage and Use:
Diffuser/Aroma Lamp: 3-7 drops for relaxation, air purification, or creating a forest atmosphere. Helps improve concentration.
Inhalation: Add 1-2 drops to a bowl of hot water or use an inhaler stick for respiratory issues.
Massage Oils: 2-5 drops per 10 ml of carrier oil (Almond, Jojoba) for relief from muscle pain and for relaxation.
Hair Care: Add a few drops to shampoo or hair oil to support hair growth and a healthy scalp.
Skincare: 1-2 drops per 10 ml of carrier oil for acne-prone skin or minor skin blemishes.
Insect Repellent: Add a few drops to a diffuser or on a cotton pad to repel mosquitoes.
