Immortelle

The Latin name of Helichrysum Italicum comes from the Greek Hélios (i.e. sun) and Chrysos (i.e. gold), referring to its golden color. In the English language, it is called Immortal, Immortelle, because its flowers retain their shape, brightness and color even when cut and dried. Immortelle flower water hydrates and regenerates dry, mature and problematic skin. It has a very distinct smell. Whereas the aroma of its essential oil is more herbal with hints of honey.
