Ylang Ylang complete essential oil from Madagascar is a gem among essential oils. Ylang flowers, like rose flowers, are picked in the morning and then transformed into essential oil in the distillation process. It comes from South Asia. It grows abundantly in the Philippines, from where its name is also derived, meaning “hanging flowers” or “fluttering in the wind” in the local language. In Indonesia, flowers are spread on newlyweds’ beds. This plant is known as an aphrodisiac.
