The Latin name Helichrysum Italicum comes from the Greek Helios (i.e. the sun) and Chrysos (i.e., gold), referring to its golden color. In English, it is called Immortal because its flowers retain their shape, brightness, and color even when cut and dried. It is a true treasure that you must try!
