Interesting facts
Agarwood (Oud or Eagle Wood) comes from the mighty trees of Southeast Asia. Its origin is shrouded in mystery. The precious aromatic resin is only formed in the trunk when the tree is attacked by a specific fungus. This defensive process causes the wood to darken, becoming so heavy that it sinks in water. Because the resin is absorbed and cannot be seen on the surface, obtaining this essential oil is extremely difficult and valuable. The scent of oud is absolutely inimitable, complex and still considered an exotic gem in Western countries.
Aroma: Deep, woody, balsamic to smoky with amber undertones.
Combination: sandalwood, cedar, palo santo, rose, jasmine, neroli, ylang ylang, incense, myrrh, benzoin, patchouli, citrus, vanilla, vetiver

- As a personal perfume: Dilute 1 drop in a small amount of carrier oil (e.g. apricot) and apply to pulse points.
- In massage mixtures: 1–2 drops per 20 ml of vegetable oil for deep relaxation.
