Tea tree

Tea tree (Melaleuca Alternifolia) is one of the essential oils for every aromatherapy enthusiast. The Latin name Melaleuca of this aromatic tree comes from the combination of two Greek words melas, meaning black, and leukos, meaning white. It refers to the contrast created by the paper-white bark with the dark leaves. Tea tree essential oil is particularly useful in a diffuser during cold and flu season.
