Carrot

Wild carrot (Daucus carota) can also be found in Czech literature under the folk name “carrot”. It is a very interesting plant, which with its delicate white flowers resembles lace. In the 17th century, lace also found its way into its English name “Queen Anne's lace”. The essential oil from the distillation of wild carrot seeds is a popular component of oriental perfumes for its sweet, rooty scent. Its floral water brightens tired skin with wrinkles. It regenerates and soothes irritation.
