Marjoram
The botanical name origanum marjorana comes from the Greek oros and ganos, meaning “delight of the mountains.” This herb has been a part of culinary and herbal medicine since ancient times. According to Greek mythology, this white to pink flowering herb was grown in her garden by the goddess of love Aphrodite and used to make a love potion. It was thanks to her loving touch that it acquired its wonderful scent. Enjoy it in the sweetly fresh balsamic scent with camphor undertones of its essential oil, which is among the most soothing and relaxing oils for nervous overload.
