So I thought of taking a scooter and going to get the package. The way there is uphill, but the way back down the hill will be fun. But I didn’t realize that the entire sidewalk is paved. Plus the weight of my son, who was just a passenger, didn’t make my plan, which looked so great at the beginning, any easier. Well, I won’t make it long. I came home knocked out like a “carpet on a knocker” and scalded like a heated dumpling. Fortunately, I knew what was waiting for me in the package. Yes, Cabbage rose hydrosol. I enveloped myself in the cooling mist that the centennial rose provides.
Rose as an elixir of beauty
Damask rose, Centifolia rose, rose hip and musk rose contributed to the emergence of the centipede rose. It is therefore a bred hybrid, and its strongly intoxicating fragrance hides the aroma and charm of each of its creators. The rose is the elixir of beauty. Its effects against signs of skin aging have been known since ancient times.
Centifolia rose in literature
The hundred-leaf rose is praised in songs and fables. In Karel Jaromír Erben’s short story The Centifolia Rose , its roots underground bind a dangerous animal that, if it got to the surface, would be the ruin of the world. And despite that, you can easily pull it out. However, a big mistake who tries it. The fire will scorch the whole earth and everything will lie on it in ashes. Only the centennial rose will remain. And two met with her who wanted to rule the world and her leaves were to decide. Whoever plucks the last ticket becomes the king. The first leaf will be yours, the second mine, and the third he destroys, and so on. But the centipede rose did not want only one to rule the world, and the third leaf, which belongs to no one, remained on the rose. And so the two separated and waited for the right time to come when only one could rule the world.
Centifolia rose in aromatherapy
The aroma of the rose opens the heart to love and is a symbol of femininity. She is a self-confident, friendly woman who doesn’t let anyone fool her. It harmonizes emotions and helps us discover the magic of our soul and love it. It will teach us to love ourselves and appreciate every bit of our body. And although the hundred-leaved rose is rarely seen in gardens, it can still be found in someone’s home and coquettishly pokes its flowers through the fence, inviting passers-by to smell it and pluck it. But don’t be tempted and remember what keeps its roots in shackles underground.
