The wild carrot, Daucus carota, the predecessor of today’s carrot, is used to produce aromatic essential oil, which will be discussed by aromatherapist and phytotherapist Aneta Jirchářová.
Essential oil from seeds
The wild carrot looks like a gentle beauty , but it is actually a strong personality. The essential oil with a strong earthy scent, distilled from the seeds, suggests as much. And it is in the seeds that great power lies. They soothe away the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Earthiness of essential oil
For me, wild carrot essential oil is ideal. If you opened my head, you would see a hurricane of thoughts crashing into each other, fighting with other thoughts, spinning around and around, unable to calm down. The earthiness of the essential oil anchors us firmly. And the more earthy it is, the stronger the anchor rope. Suitable for those whose thoughts are floating somewhere in mid-air, unable to be in the here and now.
Carrots in cosmetics
What I love about wild carrots is their ability to promote skin regeneration. The fact that it lends itself to anti-age cosmetics is a priceless bonus, but its healing effects on the skin are simply admirable. Our internal blocks are most often reflected on our skin. Whether it’s eczema, hives, psoriasis or rosacea, wild carrot will soothe our irritated skin. And on a spiritual level, it dissolves the stagnation that is most often the cause of inner tension.
Symbol of new beginnings
In the 19th century, the carrot that we are familiar with and is part of our cuisine was bred from it. That is why we can call it the ‘mother carrot’, symbolising a new beginning. If we reach a stage in our lives when we need to cut out the old and welcome the new, the wild carrot will help us to say goodbye more easily and open up to new possibilities.
Promoting self-confidence
Almost all carrots are reported to have a positive effect on the eyes. However, I certainly do not advise you to drip essential oil into your eyes, but if you make a massage blend and gently massage it into the third eye, which is the seat of higher spiritual power, you will enhance your imagination and perception. I learned that wild carrots are also a love awakener. I can explain this by saying that it gives us a certain confidence.
So if you want to impress someone, you have a great chance with wild carrots. So you see, this beauty is actually quite a spirited woman who is not afraid of any obstacles. And with her, you can overcome the impossible.
